Cornerstone Property Management ("Cornerstone," "we," "us") is owned and operated by Bradley Grimm. This policy covers thecornerstone.llc and the calls, emails, and texts that come from it. It explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have.
The short version
- We only collect what we need to do the job, like your name, phone, email, and property address.
- We never sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising.
- This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies.
- You can ask to see, correct, or delete your information by calling or emailing Bradley.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use the contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, property address, the service you need, and your message. When you request service, call, text, or email us, or receive work from us, we also keep the details you share about the job, including photos.
Information collected automatically. When you visit or use the contact form, we receive basic technical information from your browser, such as IP address, device type, the page you came from, and the date and time. Our host keeps these standard logs for security. The contact form uses a hidden spam check.
Payments. We do not collect payment card information on this website. Payments are handled directly between you and Bradley Grimm.
How we use it
- To schedule work, communicate about a job, and send invoices.
- To answer your questions and follow up on work we have done.
- To keep the website secure and stop spam.
- To keep job, warranty, tax, and legal records.
We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it to train artificial intelligence.
Cookies and your choices
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no cookie popup. Our host may set a short-lived cookie for security. Bradley's digital business card page loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address and browser type to deliver them. If we add basic analytics in the future, this policy will be updated first. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only in these ways:
- Companies that help us run the website, only so they can do that work for us: our website host (Vercel) and our email delivery service (Resend), which delivers your message to Bradley and a confirmation to you.
- Trusted sub-trades brought in for a specific job you asked for, who get only what they need and are expected to treat your information with the same care we do.
- Our website developer, Chamberlin Design, which maintains the site.
- When the law requires it, for example to answer a subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers or others.
- If the business changes hands. If Cornerstone is sold or merged, records would move to the new owner, who would have to honor this policy.
Text messages and calls
If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your request or your job. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Agreeing is not a condition of any purchase. We do not send marketing texts.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your permission to receive texts and your mobile number are not shared with any third parties.
How long we keep it
- Job records: as long as needed to support the work, honor warranties, and meet tax and legal requirements. You can ask us to delete records that are no longer required.
- Contact form messages and emails: as long as the conversation or job needs them.
- Website logs: our host keeps short technical logs for security and troubleshooting, then deletes them.
How we protect it
The site uses encryption (HTTPS) for everything you send, access to your information is limited to the people who need it to serve you, and the companies we work with keep their own security programs. No website or email system can be completely secure, so please do not send passwords, card numbers, or health information through the site. If a security breach ever affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
Your choices and rights
- Ask to see the personal information we have about you, or get a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct information that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, unless we need to keep it for work we are doing for you or the law.
- Stop texts any time by replying STOP.
Depending on where you live, state privacy laws may give you more rights, such as opting out of the sale or sharing of your information, targeted advertising, or profiling. We do not sell or share personal information or use it for targeted advertising or profiling, and we honor requests to see, correct, or delete information from everyone, wherever they live.
This website does not sell or share personal information and uses no optional cookies, so there is nothing to switch off. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we honor it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing. There is no common standard for the older Do Not Track setting, so the site does not respond to it separately, but we do not track you across other websites either way.
To make a request, call (989) 289-7580 or email bradley@thecornerstone.llc. We may ask you to confirm a few details so we know the request is really from you, and someone you authorize may ask for you. We respond within 45 days, and if we cannot do what you ask, we will explain why. We will never treat you differently for using these rights.
Children
This website is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Other websites and visitors outside the U.S.
Our site links to other websites, such as Google for reviews. We are not responsible for how those sites handle your information, so please read their privacy policies. We are based in Michigan, and information you send us is stored and handled in the United States.
Changes to this policy
We review this policy at least once a year and when our practices change. We will post any update here with a new date at the top, and for important changes we will also put a notice on the website before they take effect.
